Woman, 24, gets job

News just in:

My shweetie of a girlfriend has just accepted a job as a residential assistant at a local Sydney boarding school, Abbotsleigh. Why is this so damned awesome?

NO MORE LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP!!!!!! Yeah!

Clare will be situated approximately 18.15km from my place. A mere Sunday stroll, compared to a frustrating 205.26km we've endured over the past while.

I simple cannot miss this opportunity to wax lyrical about the fine establishment that is, Abbotsleigh Anglican School for Girls.

As some of you may know, it's my old alma mater, situated in the leafy confines of Wahroonga, well past Pymble of the North Shore, but far enough from Hornsby not to be tainted.

Green trees, green ribbons, green playing fields, green undies... green with envy.. well, i'm sure the rest of you are.

You'll find yourself very much at home there Clare.. but remember Belly.. boys can only visit between the hours of 3 and 5 on the weekends and don't forget to take of your hat indoors.

A few more pointers from boarding life:
1 - cream biscuits are rare so get them while you can
2 - don't ever eat the meat on meat roulade
3 - don't forget to put your false teeth back in when you go to wake up the girls (my old housemistress always forgot)

As a former Head Girl, are you under contract to spruik the benefits of A.A.S.G.? Either way, I'll be sure to wear my very best tweed jacket whenever I visit.

How's the assignment/larynx going?

The congratulations has been duly passed on - you should find her in my Facebook friends list and tell her yourself!

My most fav client of all time was an 'old girl' of Abbotsleigh. She held the record as the oldest ex-student for a few years before she died at 95 - Nancy was a character and I loved her to bits. Clare should have a tremendous time. A noteworthy hint from Edwina to pay particular attention to her polident routine should be taken on board by Clare.
